Summary

Wiz 'n' Liz – The Frantic Wabbit Wescue feels like a whimsical sprint through a cartoon studio. Each of the eight‑world stages dresses the screen in its own art style and soundtrack, yet the core loop stays delightfully simple: run, grab wabbits, and snatch the floating letters they drop to assemble the magic word flashing at the top. Once the word is complete, the rescued wabbits start spitting out fruit, stars and clocks, instantly padding the three‑minute timer that only resets when you lose a life. If you’re cutting it close, a glowing orange orb pops up in the final ten seconds, gifting a generous thirty‑second boost.

The game shuns traditional foes—aside from a few end‑level bosses, the only obstacles are the ticking clock and your own momentum. After each stage, the collected fruit can be tossed into a cauldron, triggering anything from extra points and quirky mini‑games to goofy visual tricks (including a fake “Game Over” that quickly apologises) or simply nothing at all. Fans will also spot playful cameos from Psygnosis mascots like Puggsy and the Lemmings, adding a nostalgic wink to the experience.

Storyline

Wiz 'n' Liz – The Frantic Wabbit Wescue takes place on the magical planet Pum. Wizards Wiz and Liz live there, brewing potions and casting spells while caring for rabbit‑like creatures called wabbits. One of their concoctions goes wrong, scattering the wabbits across distant corners of Pum. Determined to fix the mishap, the duo sets off on a frantic rescue mission to retrieve every missing wabbit. The game follows their spell‑filled journey across the planet as they hunt down the wayward creatures.
