Summary

WarpSpeed drops you into the pilot’s seat of a sleek starfighter, where every decision feels like a real‑time space‑ops briefing. From the cockpit view you can choose one of four ships—the Stinger, Striker, Stalker or Slasher—each wired with its own computer, engine, shield, weapons and missile systems. Those components aren’t just cosmetic; they can take damage from enemy fire or stray asteroids, forcing you to juggle repairs while the battle rages on. A built‑in Long‑Range Scanner maps the 64‑square sector, flashing enemy positions so you can plot a defensive route, and the Hyperwave Receiver lets you stay in contact with both the alien invaders and your home base. The game offers seven distinct battle scenarios plus a four‑scenario campaign, giving plenty of variety without overwhelming the player. I love how the interface makes every hit feel consequential, turning each sortie into a tense dance of firepower, shield management, and quick navigation.
