Summary

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Shredder’s Re‑Revenge feels like a fresh coat of paint on a classic canvas. Every fighter, foe and boss has been swapped out and given a crisp shadow, and the seven heroes – Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, April O’Neil, Splinter and Casey Jones – all sport new, longer jumps when they sprint. The combat feels tighter too: juggling works for both sides, you can recover from a hit by pressing jump on landing, and the offensive special can be unleashed while running. The control scheme got a serious upgrade with six‑button support, the uppercut now lives on the Y‑button, and friendly fire is turned off, making the chaos feel more intentional. A brand‑new storyline, fresh sound effects, and a revamped title and story screens give the game its own personality, while Turbo Mode III lets you dial the strike delay from “fan‑friendly” to “full‑on‑madness.” The latest patch even squashes a freeze that could happen on the hardest difficulties when the Whip‑Foot Ninja lands an Electrolyte attack. All of this was stitched together by a small crew of dedicated hackers, with sprite work pulled from the Spriters Resource and a ton of thanks to the community members who made the juggling, new running physics, and AI tweaks possible.

Storyline

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Re‑Revenge of the Shredder (often called Shredder’s Re‑Revenge) drops players into a city under siege. Shredder and Krang command a massive foot‑ninja army that has launched a brutal attack. The four turtles unite to fight back, aiming to purge the streets of the invading mutants and foot ninjas. Their mission is to restore peace, but the odds suggest it won’t be easy.
