Play Super Kick Off Online

Summary

Super Kick Off landed on the Sega Mega Drive as a Europe‑and‑Brazil exclusive, and I can’t help but see it as the console’s toned‑down cousin of the beloved Kick Off 2. The original Kick Off 2 was Dino Dini’s brainchild for Anco Games on the Amiga, later ported to a handful of home computers, while Tiertex handled the console conversions that eventually birthed Super Kick Off. From a franchise angle the series marched on to the contentious Kick Off 3: European Challenge – a title Dino Dini never touched. Instead, Dini broke away to launch Goal!, a game that feels like a spiritual successor and even made its way onto the Mega Drive under the name Dino Dini’s Soccer. The lineage is a neat snapshot of early ’90s football‑gaming evolution.
