Play Space Invaders '91 Online

Summary

Space Invaders '91 on the Genesis is essentially a straight‑up port of the arcade version that appeared in the early ’90s. It captures the classic alien‑dropping action without the extra fluff that later home versions tried to add.

Unlike the Super Space Invaders releases for other consoles, this edition skips the animated cutscenes, offers only a single gameplay mode, and removes the stage‑select screen entirely. The result is a lean, focused experience that feels more like stepping into the original cabinet than playing a heavily re‑imagined remake.
