Summary

Pat Riley Basketball, known in Japan and Europe as Super Real Basketball, drops you into a surprisingly deep arcade‑style hoops experience on the Sega Genesis. You can pick from eight oddly named squads—like the L.A. Hoops, Detroit Jets, and Seattle Bears—each paired with a counterpart team from another country, giving the feeling of a global tournament. The game offers two straightforward modes: a quick exhibition match or a tournament that pits you against the full roster of teams. What’s cool is the flexibility in quarter length; you can set each quarter to five, twelve, or even twenty minutes, letting you tailor the pace to a short burst or a marathon session. It also supports two‑player head‑to‑head action, so you can challenge a friend while the legendary Pat Riley, then coaching the Los Angeles Lakers, watches over the court.
