Play Mortal Kombat: Arcade Edition Online

Summary

Mortal Kombat Arcade Edition is a community‑driven overhaul of the Sega Genesis classic, rebuilt by Master Linkuei with a boost from BillyTime!Games. Every original PROBE Software sprite has been re‑painted or refined by Linkuei, Chev Chelios and Danilo Dias, giving the fighters a look that mirrors the arcade cabinets more closely. The hack also restores the two missing Kano ending screens and gives each character’s bio a fresh arcade‑style backdrop. New animations light up the Courtyard, Palace Gates, Warrior’s Shrine and Throne Room – from flickering flames to a clapping Shang Tsung head – while over 80 authentic arcade sound samples replace the dated console effects. A custom SRAM system now records your Winning Streak name list, and you can toggle between the original music order and a more faithful arcade tracklist, all wrapped in tighter timing and smoother gameplay.
