Summary

Mike Ditka Power Football is a quirky entry in the early ’90s football lineup for the Sega Mega Drive. What makes it stand out is that it hit the shelves without Sega’s official seal of approval, giving it a sort of underground collector’s vibe. The lack of a license meant the game had to rely on its own branding and the famous coach’s name to draw attention, which gives it a raw, unpolished charm you don’t see in the big‑budget titles. I’ve always found the unofficial status adds a layer of nostalgia, as if you’re playing a hidden gem that slipped past the corporate radar.
