Play Lion King 3 Online

Summary

Lion King 3 shows up on the Sega Mega Drive as a surprisingly obscure platformer that continues the story after The Lion King II rather than riffing on the later Disney movie of the same name. The title feels like a direct sequel, yet the team behind it remains a mystery – clues point to a studio linked with Gamtec, though no official credit appears. The original run was put out by the budget label X Boy, but a later version slipped onto the market without any X Boy branding, leaving collectors guessing whether it was a silent re‑press or a different publisher altogether. It’s a quirky footnote in the console’s library, tucked between more polished Disney releases.
