Play LEGO Batman Online

Summary

I stumbled across LEGO Batman for the Sega Mega Drive and was instantly intrigued by its backstory. It’s an unlicensed platformer that lifts its design straight from the 2008 J2ME mobile title, LEGO Batman: The Mobile Game, and somehow landed on a Russian cartridge in 2014, courtesy of the obscure publisher BMB.

The game feels like a nostalgic mash‑up: classic side‑scrolling action wrapped in the brick‑built aesthetic of the Lego universe, yet it never saw an official Western release. For anyone hunting oddities in the retro scene, this Russian‑only Mega Drive version is a quirky reminder of how fan‑driven projects can cross borders and platforms in the most unexpected ways.
