Summary

Krusty's Super Fun House lets you step into the chaotic world of Krusty the Clown, where the goal isn’t jokes but rat extermination. Each level is a maze‑like puzzle; you shuffle blocks, fans, and pipe pieces to coax swarms of rats toward a glowing trap operated by familiar faces like Bart, Homer, Corporal Punishment or Sideshow Mel.

The house is anything but quiet—snakes, Martians, flying pigs and birds dart across the screen, trying to injure Krusty. A well‑timed pie toss sends them packing, letting you focus on the delicate chain reactions needed to guide the rodents. The sole programmer, Douglas Hare, built the game on a foundation originally called Rat Trap, and Audiogenic’s work shines through the quirky physics and tight level design.

Two Genesis revisions exist; version 1.1 swaps out the music for worlds two and four, a subtle but memorable change. Critics responded warmly, with Entertainment Weekly awarding an A‑ and Mega Action scoring it 86 %, cementing the title as a quirky gem in the early‑90s puzzle catalog.
