Storyline

Industrialist John Hammond built Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar, a tropical island off Costa Rica, using dinosaur DNA extracted from amber‑preserved mosquitoes and filled with frog genes. All creatures are engineered as females to prevent breeding. Investors, led by lawyer Donald Gennaro, demand safety proof, so paleontologist Alan Grant, botanist Ellie Sattler, mathematician Ian Malcolm, and Hammond’s grandchildren Lex and Tim arrive for a tour.
During the visit a Velociraptor kills a handler and the group sees a baby raptor hatching, but the crisis erupts when programmer Dennis Nedry sabotages the security system to steal embryos. His hack disables the fences, freeing a Tyrannosaurus rex that attacks the tour vehicles, killing Gennaro and injuring Malcolm. Nedry is later killed by a venom‑spitting Dilophosaurus, and Muldoon falls to a raptor.
Grant, Lex and Tim hide in a tree, then reunite with Sattler to confront the escaped raptors. Lex restores power, allowing the group to contact Hammond and summon a helicopter. As the raptors close in, the T‑rex returns and kills both, giving the survivors a chance to escape. They board the chopper, and Hammond agrees to abandon the park.
