Summary

Hurricanes is a quirky platformer that lifts the DiC cartoon into the 16‑bit world. Instead of a soccer simulation, you control a member of the Hurricanes football squad, swinging a football like a weapon to blast through enemies.

The Sega Mega Drive and Game Gear editions only saw European shelves, each packing its own set of stages, while a separate SNES version made it to the U.S. The level design feels reminiscent of Marko’s Magic Football, mixing sports gear with classic side‑scroll action.
