Play Darkwing Duck Online

Summary

Darkwing Duck on the Sega Genesis is essentially a bootleg copy of the NES version, transplanted onto the 16‑bit hardware without any official backing. The game feels like a direct lift, preserving the original level design and sprite work while the Genesis’s sound chip adds a slightly different audio flavor. It’s a curious footnote in the franchise’s history, showing how the popularity of the cartoon spurred unofficial adaptations across consoles.
