Summary

Budokan: The Martial Spirit lets you step into a Japanese dojo and become a true warrior. You start at the Tobiko Ryu Dojo, where the stern Tobiko Sensei watches every move, offering tips on tactics and philosophy as you train.

The game teaches four classic disciplines—Karate, Kendo, Nunchaku and Bo—while also giving you access to a roster of twelve authentic weapons, from Yari spears to Naginata poles. Each style boasts more than 25 distinct moves, letting you craft a personal black‑belt mix of power and grace.

Combat is a choice between lightning‑fast attacks for quick points or charging your ki for a devastating strike, a decision that even the enemy’s Yari will react to. Goro‑San serves as the first gatekeeper; defeat him and eleven more masters await, each eager to test your resolve.

The interface feels like a real martial arts lesson, blending strategy, timing, and the occasional philosophical nudge from your sensei.
