Summary

Bahamut Senki is a turn‑based strategy war game that never made it outside Japan, which gives it a certain mystique among retro collectors. In the game’s world, eight mighty nations vie for supremacy: four are led by humans or human‑like races, while the other four fall under dark, evil dominions. Each turn you assume the role of a nation’s leader, juggling recruitment, diplomatic overtures, and declarations of war to tip the balance in your favor. Battles unfold on a grid where you command squads of foot soldiers and summon magical creatures, turning each encounter into a tactical puzzle. The blend of political maneuvering and fantasy‑filled combat creates a deep, replayable experience that feels surprisingly modern despite its 16‑bit roots.
