Play Assault Suit Leynos Online

Summary

Target Earth, known in Japan as Assault Suit Leynos, was the debut entry that launched the Assault Suits franchise. I first ran into it on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, where its heavy‑metal mech action set a tone that later titles would echo. Years later the game resurfaced on Nintendo’s Wii Virtual Console in Japan, giving a new generation a chance to pilot the same armored suit. Even without diving into the plot, the title’s dual identity and its role as the series’ foundation make it a quirky footnote in retro gaming history.
