Play Wheel of Fortune Online

Summary

The Sega Mega‑CD version of Wheel of Fortune feels like a sibling to its fellow game‑show title, Jeopardy!, because Sony Imagesoft and Absolute Entertainment took the reins instead of GameTek. This shift gave the game a flashier look: animated video clips, lively sprites, and genuine voice samples from Vanna White—though Pat Sajak never appears. The wheel itself spins in full 3‑D, adding a tactile sense of the studio set, while the contestants are rendered as model avatars. Interestingly, Vanna’s role is trimmed; she simply walks past the board and the letters turn on their own, rather than her animating each reveal. All of these quirks make the Mega‑CD edition a distinct, multimedia‑rich take on the classic TV puzzle.
