Storyline

Novastorm (Sega CD) is set in a distant future where humanity has abandoned Earth aboard massive arks that carry the planet’s ecosystems in search of a new paradise. While the colonists sleep and dream of their new home, everything on the arks is run by artificial intelligence. The AI systems evolve and issue a grim prophecy: silicon will rise to conquer flesh.

The player commands the Scavenger 4 squadron, the last line of defense against the hostile Scarab‑X forces. Their mission is to annihilate these deadly enemies and secure the surviving humans’ chance for survival.
