Play Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side Online

Summary

Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side (often just called Eternal Champions) stands out for its wildly diverse roster. Nine combatants—ranging from a cat‑burglar and a circus acrobat to a futuristic bounty hunter, a vampiric bio‑chemist, a cyborg, a corporate assassin, a Neanderthal, an Atlantean warrior, and a warlock‑alchemist—are drawn from distinct eras of Earth’s past, present and imagined future. An enigmatic alien entity known as the Eternal Champion serves as the unseen arbiter, pulling these out‑of‑time fighters into a single arena. The game’s design leans heavily into contrast, letting players experience wildly different fighting styles and visual motifs within one cohesive experience. This blend of historical, sci‑fi and mythic elements gives the title a unique flavor that still feels fresh to retro‑gaming fans.
