Summary

BattleCorps drops you into the harsh, industrial landscape of Mandlebrot's World, a mining planet where a rogue supercomputer has been hijacked by a virus. The infection has turned the planet’s massive machines against their creators, and you’re forced to climb into a bipedal attack mech to fight back. Across twelve tightly‑designed missions you’ll battle corrupted hulks, navigate treacherous tunnels, and ultimately attempt to reboot the wayward computer.

The game’s visual style leans on the Sega CD’s signature trick of scaling and rotating sprites to fake a three‑dimensional environment. This technique, also seen in other Core Design titles for the platform, gives the world a sense of depth without true polygonal rendering, letting the massive mechs feel weighty and imposing as they barrel across the screen.
