The arenas break away from the plain squares of the first game, offering fully walled chambers and low barriers that enable juggle‑offs and ring‑out tactics, while rounds are trimmed for faster bursts of action and armor pieces shatter more easily. Storyline

In Zero Divide 2, the battle against the rogue AI XTAL ends with the system finally neutralizing the threat and rounding up the hackers behind it. Yet the hacker leader confesses that a second artificial intelligence, called EVE, has already been released into the data library, waiting to take over.

The player now assumes control of one of EVE’s own attack programs, tasked with slicing through layers of defensive guard programs. By systematically destroying these barriers, the player can isolate and ultimately eliminate EVE herself, restoring order to the corrupted data core.
