Storyline

Twisted Metal 2 drops players into a shattered Los Angeles, left in ruins a year after Calypso’s original Christmas‑Eve bloodsport. From his floating airship emblazoned with “CALYPSO RULER OF THE EARTH,” Calypso assembles fourteen of the world’s dead‑liest drivers and announces that the whole planet will become his arena. The contest roams across iconic sites—Moscow, Paris, the Amazon, New York City, Antarctica, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong—each serving as a brutal battleground for the competitors.

After tearing through the Amazon, the player must confront the monstrous Minion before heading to New York. The final showdown erupts in Hong Kong, where the flaming‑head behemoth Dark Tooth must be destroyed. Victorious, the driver meets Calypso in New York to claim the mysterious prize promised by the twisted organizer.
