Storyline

In Twisted Metal 2 the story jumps to the year 2006, when Los Angeles lies in ruins after the brutal contest Calypso staged on Christmas Eve a year earlier. He ultimately decides that the whole planet will serve as the arena, adding Moscow, Paris, Amazonia, New York City, Antarctica, the Netherlands and Hong Kong to the devastated City of Angels. After the player defeats all opponents in Amazonia, the next challenge is a showdown with Minion before moving on to New York. The Dark Tooth boss, a flaming‑head monster, appears after the Hong Kong stage; once Dark Tooth is beaten the driver meets Calypso in New York to receive the coveted prize.
