Driven by anxiety, Tomba dives into the sea and washes up in a quiet fisherman village where he meets the elderly Kainen. He soon travels to the Coal‑Mining Town, only to learn that Tabby is nowhere to be found. Gran, a resident, tells Tomba that Tabby boarded a trolley to the Kujara Ranch, but the trolley returned empty, and a panicked worker reveals the Evil Pigs kidnapped her while she protected a pendant Tomba had given her.

Gran hands Tomba a red Pig Bag capable of trapping the Flame Pig that has set the mines ablaze, and the quest to collect the remaining Pig Bags begins. By capturing the Ice Pig, Ghost Pig, Earth Pig and Water Pig, Tomba lifts the perpetual snowfall on the ranch, the gloom in Donglin Forest, the pig‑transformation curse in Circus Town, and the endless rain in the Water Temple. Each captured pig restores its region to normal, and the continent’s curse gradually fades. With the five Evil Pigs sealed, the Last Evil Pig reveals himself and lures Tomba to his hidden lair beneath the Coal‑Mining Town.
