Storyline

The ultimate goal is to defeat the tournament’s founder, Heihachi Mishima, in the final round.

The rivalry dates back to Kazuya Mishima’s childhood, when his father hurled the five‑year‑old off a mountain to test his worthiness. Kazuya survived, scarred, and later forged a pact with the Devil, gaining tremendous power at the cost of his soul. Heihachi also adopted the orphan Lee Chaolan as a rival, adding further tension to the family feud.

Twenty‑one years later, Kazuya, now an undefeated champion, enters the King of Iron Fist Tournament, defeats opponents such as Lee and Paul Phoenix, and confronts Heihachi in the final. He triumphs, throws his father from the same summit, and claims control of the Mishima Zaibatsu, sealing his revenge.
