Storyline

After the events of King of Iron Fist Tournament 2, Heihachi Mishima reclaimed the Mishima Zaibatsu and formed the Tekken Force, a paramilitary unit tasked with protecting the company. A squad of these soldiers explores an ancient Mexican temple, only to be nearly annihilated by the mysterious creature known as Ogre. Heihachi’s only hope becomes his grandson Jin Kazama, who lives with his mother Jun unaware of his Mishima heritage. When Ogre attacks their home and Jun disappears, Jin seeks out Heihachi, learns the Mishima fighting style, and is sent to Mishima High School where he meets Ling Xiaoyu, Hwoarang, and other future rivals. On Jin’s nineteenth birthday Heihachi announces the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3, secretly using the competitors as bait to draw Ogre out. During the tournament Nina Williams, revived from cold‑sleep, is controlled by Ogre and attempts to assassinate Jin, but he frees her by defeating her. Paul Phoenix defeats the first form of Ogre, only for it to transform into True Ogre after absorbing Heihachi’s forces. The officials reinstate Jin, who then defeats True Ogre, avenging his mother’s death and winning the tournament. In a shocking twist, Heihachi orders the Tekken Force to gun down Jin, but the Devil gene within Jin resurrects him. Empowered by Devil, Jin slays the soldiers, shatters Heihachi’s plans, and sprouts black wings before flying away, leaving a stunned Heihachi to watch his grandson disappear.
