Storyline

Tekken 2 continues two years after Kazuya Mishima threw his father Heihachi off a cliff and claimed the Mishima Zaibatsu. Now the corporation is a powerhouse involved in illegal activities, and Kazuya, whose Devil side has taken over his soul, announces the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 with a huge cash prize, hoping to draw Heihachi back for revenge.

Animal‑rights activist Jun Kazama enters the tournament to stop Kazuya’s genetic‑experiment smuggling; a mystic force links her to Kazuya, and she quits the fight to free him from the Devil’s grip. Heihachi climbs back up, trains, defeats Lee Chaolan and many others, and after a semi‑final loss to Paul Phoenix is reinstated to replace Paul in the final.

In the climax Heihachi throws the weakened Kazuya into a volcano, regains the Zaibatsu, and Jun leaves to raise the child she bore from Kazuya.
