Storyline

Tales of Destiny takes place in a world scarred by a comet that crashed long ago, blanketing the sky with dust and ushering in an age of cold darkness. In the ancient Aeth’er Wars, the Aetherians created a super‑weapon, the Belcrant, but a group of rebel scientists forged sentient swords—Swordians—that chose their masters and could command elemental forces. These Swordians helped the Erthers topple the sky cities, and after the war the weapons fell into a deep slumber, awaiting a new threat.

The story begins when 19‑year‑old country boy Stahn Aileron sneaks aboard the airship Draconis as a stowaway. Caught and forced to work as a deckhand, he escapes the chaos of a hostile attack and discovers a "junk" sword that immediately speaks, introducing itself as Dymlos, a sentient Swordian from the old wars. Armed with Dymlos, Stahn pilots an escape pod to safety just as the ship crashes to the ground.

Dymlos becomes Stahn’s key to fame and adventure, drawing him into a quest for the Eye of Atamoni—a massive, powerful Lens relic from the Aeth’er Wars. Along the way he meets other Swordian wielders and must unite against the forces seeking the relic for evil purposes.
