Summary

Rockman Complete Works brings the entire NES saga of the Blue Bomber to the PlayStation in one tidy package. All six original titles have been faithfully re‑engineered, so the familiar enemies, bosses and signature weapons feel just as punchy as they did on the Famicom, but with a sharper visual polish. What really sets this collection apart is the suite of extras: a PocketStation link that lets you download data, a searchable Robot Master database, an optional “easy” mode for newcomers, and a fresh remix of the classic soundtrack. The series never left Japan, debuting in 1999, and it saw a second run in 2003 when the PocketStation functionality was stripped out. Storyline

In Rockman, Dr. Wily has hijacked six of Dr. Light’s helper robots and is plotting world domination. Rock, the sole robot that escaped reprogramming, receives a special upgrade from Dr. Light that turns him into a fighter robot—thus the birth of Rockman. Armed with this new power, Rockman must cut through Dr. Wily’s army of rogue machines. The goal is to stop Wily’s evil scheme before it’s too late.
