Storyline

In Puyo Puyo Box you step into the shoes of Arle for the RPG‑styled Quest mode, traveling through a series of challenges where she faces off against other members of the Puyo cast in classic Puyo matches. The mode lets you tweak Arle’s gear—adding a double‑edged sword effect or even stripping away the Puyo Rings to boost attack power at the cost of losing the next‑piece preview—while chains you create dictate the amount of experience and gold you earn.

Beyond the quest, the collection bundles the original Puyo Puyo and Puyo Puyo Tsu, adds a Scramble marathon of up to thirty opponents, and supports four‑player battles that can mix rulesets from Puyo Puyo, Puyo Puyo Tsu, Sun, or ~n.
