Storyline

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee follows Abe, a first‑class Mudokon floor‑waxer at the RuptureFarms meat‑processing plant. While polishing the factory floor he overhears Glukkon CEO Molluck the Glukkon plotting to turn Mudokons into a new "Tasty Treat" as animal meat runs out, and he promptly flees. During his escape a mysterious shaman known as Big Face appears, marks Abe’s hands and tasks him with rescuing his fellow Mudokons while also protecting all Oddworld creatures from the predatory Magog Cartel. After surviving grueling temple trials and traversing a wasteland with his friend Elum, Abe gains the Shrykull power and returns to RuptureFarms, where he deactivates the plant’s generator, battles Glukkon executives, and either perishes in poisonous gas or is saved by the freed Mudokons who summon a lightning storm that destroys the factory. In the good ending Big Face rescues Abe, and he returns home to a hero’s welcome; the bad ending sees Abe killed by the gas.
