Summary

No One Can Stop Mr. Domino! is a quirky PlayStation puzzle title that lets you race a cheeky domino avatar through six whimsical arenas—casino, grocery, home, park, amusement park, and city—all laid out as looping tracks. Your job is to drop dominoes via the classic “trick tiles” (press Circle, X, Triangle or Square) while the character speeds forward automatically, dodging hijinks like thrown dice, electrified wires and phantom fruit. Stamina fades as the run continues, signaled by a darkening outline; recovery tiles give you a single life‑line per lap. Mastering long chains and quick trick‑tile activation rewards high scores and unlocks extra racers such as the fast Bruce or the erratic D△M•?0. Critics were split, hovering around a modest 71 % on GameRankings, with praises for its odd charm and addictive hook despite a learning curve. It’s a nostalgic dash of strategy and luck that still feels fresh for anyone who loves a puzzling sprint.

Storyline

No One Can Stop Mr. Domino! (often just called Mr. Domino) throws you into six looping tracks – a casino, grocery store, family home, park, amusement park and city. Each level is a racetrack that repeats until you lay enough dominoes, and you can run as many laps as needed to clear it.

Your avatar runs nonstop; you steer with the D‑Pad while opponents toss dice, flash wires or spawn fruit. Pressing Circle, X, Triangle or Square drops a “trick tile” domino, and holding the button lays a chain. When you return to the first domino the line falls, pausing the runner. Stamina drains, shown by the character darkening, and if it empties you become an ordinary domino and the game ends. One‑time Recovery Tiles restore stamina.

Start with Mr. Domino and Miss Domino – she skips instead of runs. High scores unlock Pierre‑Domino, the slow glasses‑wearer, and D△M•?0, the alien speedster. Finishing the game releases Bruce, the fast devil‑horned domino. Each character has a quirky ending, from falling off a building to being beamed away.
