Summary

LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge ramps up the chaos with the Brickster back for more mischief, turning the sequel into a wild mix of racing, chasing, and island‑hopping. The game lets you hop between three distinct LEGO worlds—Castle Island, Adventurers Island, and Ogel Island—each packed with its own mini‑games and collectible trinkets that boost your score, from chalices to red gems and yellow crystals. Beyond the usual driving, you can scuba‑dive, pilot a plane, and even ride a dinosaur, all while solving puzzles and meeting a cast of quirky characters. Development-wise, the original Lego Island team was let go, Mindscape lost the license, and after a brief Krisalis prototype, Silicon Dreams Studio took the reins around 1999 to deliver this action‑adventure. Critics gave the PlayStation version a middling reception, landing around a 64.7% aggregate on GameRankings, but the variety of activities still makes it a memorable stop for LEGO fans.

Storyline

After the events of the original game, Pepper Roni is promised a new house if he delivers pizzas around LEGO Island. He fulfills the quota and is sent to deliver one last pizza to the Brickster’s jail. The Brickster adds extra chilies, uses his patented dragon breath to melt the lock, escapes in a police helicopter, and steals the Constructopedia, tearing out pages that cause every building to deconstruct while summoning Brickster‑Bots and fleeing to his asteroid base, Ogel Island.

The Infomaniac instructs Pepper to destroy the Brickster‑Bots and recover the missing pages. Each recovered page rebuilds a structure, so Pepper hunts them across the island. On Castle Island he rebuilds the bridge between the Lions and the Bulls, dives for bricks, retrieves a page, jousts the Dark Knight for the Bulls’ flag, and defeats Cedric the Bull to claim another page before departing.

A helicopter then takes Pepper to Adventurers’ Island, where he meets Johnny Thunder and Pippin Reed. Together they fend off snakes attacking a truck, solve the Sphinx puzzle, fish a page out of Big Bertha, ride a T‑rex to Mr. Hates’ camp, free captured dinosaurs and secure a final page. With all pages returned, the Adventurers’ Island segment ends.

Back on LEGO Island the Brickster kidnaps Papa and Mama Brickolini. Pepper gathers the last pages, receives a special radio to stun the now‑immune Brickster‑Bots, and undergoes centrifuge and parachute training. He navigates an asteroid belt, parachutes onto Ogel Island after the Brickster steals the landing gear, makes sleepy pizzas with the Brickolinis, climbs the tower, hurls spicy pizzas at the Brickster and locks him in a cell. The game closes with a dance party at the Pizzaria where the Brickster‑Bots join the celebration, marking the end of LEGO Island 2: The Brickster’s Revenge.
