Summary

The Fantastic Four beat‑’em‑up on PlayStation lets you assemble the whole team – Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, The Thing and even She‑Hulk – and swap between them on the fly. Each hero sports four signature special moves that cost "Force Power" and a handful of classic punches and kicks, so the combat feels as much about managing energy as about button‑mashing. Up to four friends can join via a Multitap, turning the side‑scrolling streets into chaotic, cooperative showdowns against gangs of thugs, robots, mutants and a rotating roster of boss villains like Mole Man and Doctor Doom. After a flawless boss fight you’re whisked into one of three goofy bonus stages – Dragon Man, Hulk or Iceman – and even a short car‑racing minigame pops up during load screens. The game was originally slated for a Sega Saturn version that never saw the light of day, cementing its quirky legacy as a curious slice of mid‑90s superhero gaming.

Storyline

In the PlayStation game "Fantastic Four", Doctor Doom creates a mysterious device that whisks Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben to a series of exotic locales, forcing them to clash with monsters and classic super‑villains. The team must adapt to each environment while tracking Doom’s scheme.

Reed eventually builds a makeshift time machine, using it to breach Doom’s hidden micro‑kingdom for the showdown. Although the cosmic entity Galactus never appears on screen, the narrative hints that he is the unseen force responsible for the annihilation of the Skrull homeworld.
