Summary
Disney's Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge expands the classic platform formula with three playable heroes, each offering a distinct feel. Aladdin tackles sword‑fighting, high jumps, and stomps, while Abu relies on wall‑climbing and acrobatic rolls, and Jasmine slips into a pot‑like vehicle that lets you bounce and hide in her quirky level.
Scattered gold coins and ancient relics drive the exploration, but every stage concludes with a playful side‑kick—a pie‑throwing contest, surf session, skateboard dash, or cloud‑jump challenge that feels surprisingly polished for a PlayStation tie‑in. The environments are varied enough to keep you swapping characters, and the extra interactions keep the pace lively. Reviewers were split, with Metacritic averaging mixed sentiments, yet many praised the creative minigames and the way the trio’s abilities complement each other.
Storyline
Disney's Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge (often just called Nasira's Revenge) picks up after The Return of Jafar and before Aladdin and the King of Thieves, during the TV series timeline. With Jafar already imprisoned, his vengeful sister Nasira launches a new plot against Aladdin and Jasmine.
She casts a spell over Agrabah’s palace, kidnaps Jasmine and the Sultan, orders Razoul to capture Aladdin, and locks the Genie in the Cave of Wonders, stripping him of his powers. Nasira forces Aladdin to hunt down scattered ancient relics, believing they will revive Jafar in her volcanic lair. The climax sees Nasira resurrecting Jafar, but Aladdin shatters the artifacts, defeats Jafar again, and watches Nasira flee, leaving her fate uncertain.
