Summary
Disney's 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue rolls you into a colorful 3‑D platform adventure that mirrors the 2000 live‑action film. You can play as Oddball, voiced by Molly Marlette, or Domino, whose voice is supplied by Frankie Muniz, and both characters navigate vibrant levels while the camera spins to your liking.
Each stage is dotted with spirit‑animal guides who hand out mini‑tasks, and every success unlocks a sticker for a virtual album—collect one for finishing the level, grabbing 100 bones, rescuing every pup, and more. Checkpoints are signaled by a cheerful parrot named Waddlesworth, and after four hits you lose a life and respawn at the last checkpoint.
Encounter Cruella’s trio of henchmen—Jasper, Horace, and Le Pelt—as invincible obstacles that require the animal friend’s cue to bypass, leading finally to a boss showdown with Cruella herself and a reward‑filled minigame. IGN liked the voice‑overs, cut‑scenes and mini‑games, though they noted the difficulty could feel a bit soft.
Storyline
Disney's 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue loosely follows the film’s plot while adding its own backyard adventure. Players pick either Oddball or Domino, two Dalmatian puppies who stumble on a toy buried in a park that was manufactured at Cruella de Vil’s failing toy factory. Cruella, desperate after sales slump, reprograms her toys to trap pets, freeze them in “Super‑Gloop,” and market them as realistic animal toys. When the other puppies are captured, Oddball and Domino defy their parents Dipstick and Dottie’s orders to stay home and set out across London—through landmarks such as Regent’s Park, Piccadilly, Big Ben and even Stonehenge—to rescue their siblings and parents. Each level presents a specific chore, a henchman battle, or a puzzle; completing them awards up to six stickers, while Cruella‑themed stages bundle mini‑games for a unique sticker.
