Summary
C-12: Final Resistance drops you into a neon‑slick dystopia, a city reclaimed by alien forces after they overran Earth. The environments feel claustrophobic yet expansive, letting me weave between towering spires and grimy back‑alleys while I hunt down the invaders.
The game switches between two distinct viewpoints. Most of the time it holds the camera over my shoulder, giving that classic third‑person feel, but moments slip into a locked first‑person mode where I can’t move—only aim and fire. It’s a strange choice that adds tension, because every trigger pull comes with a helpless pause.
Each mission follows a strict linear path, so there’s no wandering off to side quests, which keeps the pacing tight. Enemies range from sleek alien creatures to hulking cyborg soldiers, forcing me to adapt my tactics on the fly.
Storyline
C-12: Final Resistance drops you into a world where humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. Hostile alien forces have ravaged the planet, converting survivors into cyborg warriors.
You play as Lt. Riley Vaghan, a resistance fighter whose left eye has been replaced by an Alien Imaging Unit. Armed with firepower, stealth, intelligence and sheer determination, Riley must use every tool at his disposal to save humankind from impending doom.
