Storyline

Assault: Retribution drops you into a high‑tech warzone where Washington and Doyle lead the charge against a ruthless enemy. Washington leans on the P‑420 Multi‑Phase Pulse Rifle and the brutal Cutter, while Doyle rattles foes with homing missiles, beam lasers and the D‑16 Magnetic Bolt Accelerator. Throughout each level you can scavenge pickups—weapon upgrades, health packs, ammo recharges, smart bombs, extra lives and shields—to keep the killing spree going. Strategically placed save points let you pause the carnage and resume when you’re ready. The game even offers a rare (for 1999) two‑player co‑op mode, letting a partner join the mayhem as another unstoppable killing machine.
