Storyline

Ys Strategy follows the red‑haired swordsman Abel Renford, a youthful warrior who throws his lot in with the kingdom of Esteria. Teaming up with Princess Rione, Abel leads a fledgling army to protect the surrounding territories.
Together they must fend off the aggressive Romun Empire, whose forces threaten to overrun the region. The game’s tactical battles let you command units across varied landscapes, emphasizing cooperation between Abel’s swordplay and Rione’s leadership. Victory hinges on balancing offense and defense to keep the Romun invasion at bay.
