Summary
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on the DS puts you right into the snow‑bound world of the film, with William Moseley, Skandar Keynes, Anna Popplewell, Georgie Henley, Elizabeth Hawthorne and Jim Broadbent reprising their voices. The game follows the four Pevensie siblings as they level‑up by grinding enemies, gaining virtue points that can boost health, strength, defense or skill use. A chilly temperature meter constantly reminds you how frozen Narnia is—stay in warm shelters to keep the cold from draining experience gain and slowing combat.
Every level is threaded with dungeons populated by everything from centaurs and minotaur‑like minoboars to wraiths, ankleslicers and satyrs, each requiring quick swaps between Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy. Uncontrolled siblings can be ordered to attack, defend or heal, letting you manage the whole party even during hectic battles. The day‑night cycle shifts the temperature and even the monsters you encounter, adding a strategic layer to an action‑adventure built around the beloved story.
Storyline
In the Nintendo DS adventure *The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe*, the magical realm of Narnia is locked in an endless winter, a curse cast by the evil White Witch who has banned Christmas. Four siblings stumble through a wardrobe and find themselves in this frozen world, where they soon meet the majestic lion Aslan. Aslan’s arrival promises the return of spring and the end of the Witch’s tyrannical rule. Together with Aslan, the children rally against the Witch and her dark minions, battling through the icy landscape to restore warmth and hope to Narnia.
