Summary
Taiko no Tatsujin DS: Touch de Dokodon! turns the Nintendo DS into a virtual Taiko drum using two stylus pens that act as drumsticks on the touchscreen. Tapping the large drum image feels surprisingly responsive, and you can also stick to the button layout if you prefer the classic feel.
The game offers a straightforward Free Play mode and a Daily Dojo challenge that delivers a random unlocked song once per day. Difficulty ranges from the friendly Flower level up to the hidden Demon (Oni) mode, which you must unlock by proving your skills.
Beyond the rhythm action, you can dress your on‑screen taiko drummer in a variety of goofy outfits that don’t affect scoring. Multiplayer works in single‑cart wireless mode, and each player’s costume shows up on the opponent’s screen. The package even includes two “Bachi Pens,” themed styli, and carries a CERO A (ESRB Everyone) rating.
Storyline
