Storyline

In SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge, a cargo ship drops a cache of batteries into the ocean, which Plankton salvages to power his massive robot army. He also steals the safe containing the Krabby Patty secret formula, along with the map and two copies of the key that open it. SpongeBob, Patrick, and their friends must battle Plankton’s robot minions, retrieve the scattered batteries, and locate three hidden keys before the villain does.

The heroes first clash with Plankton in the Dutchman's Triangle, then pursue his relatives Rainchild and Clem, who each command their own giant robots in separate locations. After securing the first two keys and batteries, the crew returns to the Krusty Krab for a final showdown, defeats Plankton, and recovers the last battery and key hidden under a doormat.

Opening the safe reveals a note that the formula has been in Mr. Krabs’ pocket all along. Squidward laments the effort, while SpongeBob later wonders where the batteries went, only to discover they’re powering Patrick’s TV from outside.
