Storyline

In SpongeBob's Boating Bash, the story opens at Mrs. Puff's Boating School during the final test of the year. SpongeBob fails spectacularly and sits dejected on the school steps when a shark named Seymour Scales arrives in a bus and lures him into the shady D.R.I.V.E. (Destruction, Recklessness, Impairment, Velocity, Escape) classes. As the player advances, SpongeBob recruits more friends to join the program, eventually completing the final exams and receiving a boating licence—only to learn from Mrs. Puff that it’s a fake. Seymour tries to flee in a truck, prompting a vehicle‑based showdown that ends with SpongeBob’s victory, Seymour’s arrest, and SpongeBob’s resolve to return to the school next year.
