Storyline

Sands of Destruction takes place on a desert planet that endlessly cycles through death and rebirth via the Destruct Code. Humans share the world with anthropomorphic Ferals ruled by twelve Beast Lords who enslave them. Two human factions emerge: the World Annihilation Front, seeking the Code to end the world, and the Golden Lions, who oppose the Ferals but wish to preserve the planet. The Beast Lords form the World Salvation Committee to protect the current order. The protagonist is Kyrie, an orphan raised peacefully among Ferals in the village of Barni.

After hearing a strange voice, Kyrie turns Barni and its ruler Ursa Rex into sand and is arrested. Morte, a cheery Front member, rescues him and gathers Agan, Taupy, Rhi’a, and half‑Feral Naja. Their secret leader orders them to defeat two Primal Lords so Kyrie can gain their power and become the ‘Destruct,’ while Crimson Sun, posing as his uncle, declares his destiny to end the world. The party defeats the artificial Creator and uses the Primal Lords’ power to reshape the planet into a thriving world where humans and Ferals coexist peacefully.
