Summary

Remindelight lets you pick one of four uniquely skilled heroes: sword‑wielding Surf Flood who flames foes, bow‑hand Kuurie Le Grasseld who commands water, spear‑bearing Tolon with wind magic, and axe‑clad Enju Fullhorn wielding earth spells. Each character’s weapon and elemental style shapes the puzzles you solve and the foes you confront.

The DS’s touchscreen becomes your primary tool in the sprawling overworld—tap to shatter barriers, swipe to clear paths, or simply tap an enemy’s sprite to dive into combat. Navigation leans on the D‑pad while the lower screen handles all the direct interaction.

Combat shifts to a first‑person view split across the dual screens. On the top you read status, while on the bottom you draw attacks, drag shields, and trace arcane symbols to unleash spells. Some magic even asks you to blow into the microphone, turning breath into power. The system rewards quick thinking, forcing you to match each enemy’s pattern with the right weapon, shield placement, or element, making battles feel fresh and hands‑on.

Storyline

Remindelight kicks off when the Book of Happiness is torn into fragments called “happieces” and scattered across the world, leaving everything dull and joyless. The only way to restore happiness is to gather every happiece.

Four unlikely heroes answer the call. Surf Flood, a Shiiru clan member, lives with his sister Selas, whose once‑bright cheer has faded, and he sets out to bring her smile back. Kuurie Le Grasseld of the proper Kris clan behaves ladylike at home but turns into a tomboy when she’s on the road.

Tolon, a young Skoo shapeshifter, is marked by the colorful feathers he wears that shift with his ever‑changing form. Finally, Enju Fullhorn, a short, book‑loving member of the Ain clan, joins despite his frailty. Together they chase the scattered happieces, hoping to re‑assemble the Book of Happiness and return joy to the world.
