Storyline

The story mode of Puyo Pop Fever on Nintendo DS is split into three courses and follows the adventures of Amitie, a spunky student at the Primp Magic School. She is taught by Ms. Accord how to cast magical spells using Puyo.

In the main storyline, Ms. Accord reports that her Flying Cane—essentially a magic wand—has gone missing and promises a reward to whoever finds it. Players control Amitie as she journeys across the Puyo Pop Fever world, meeting a cast of wacky characters and battling them while searching for the cane.

A harder version of the story lets you play as Amitie's rival, Raffine. This course changes the characters you encounter and ultimately determines who discovers the wand. Near the end, it is revealed that Accord never actually lost the cane; Raffine attempts to expose Accord’s and Popoi’s secret, but is knocked unconscious by Ms. Accord, loses her memory of the incident, and later awakens near the school where Amitie and friends congratulate her.
