Summary
Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff lets you hop between two playstyles without ever pausing the fun. In Exploration Mode I pilot the All‑Terrain Transformatron (A.T.T.), cranking through ancient temples, underwater caves and other wildly varied locations while scavenging odd collectibles like a floating baby head and a caveman’s stone wheel. Switch on‑the‑fly to Action Mode and Perry the Platypus springs into superhero‑grade battles against the bumbling Dr. Doofenshmirtz, turning the tiny pet into a fully‑charged agent.
The game’s charm comes from its rapid switching mechanic, witty banter and the constant sense of upgrading the A.T.T. as I hunt for hidden treasure. Everything is contained in a compact DS cartridge, perfect for a quick pick‑up session whenever the bus ride rolls by.
Storyline
The adventure of Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff unfolds in the last week of summer vacation. Determined to fill their Museum of Cool, the duo sets out to create, travel and explore, using the A.T.T. in Exploration Mode. Their quest leads them from their backyard to a mysterious lost temple, then into underwater caverns, and finally onto the surface of the Moon, hunting hidden treasures along the way.
At the same time, Perry the Platypus—Agent P—keeps tabs on Dr. Doofenshmirtz, who has unleashed a brand‑new “‑inator” aimed at taking over the Tri‑State area. Perry’s chase intertwines with the brothers’ journey, adding a parallel race against the villain’s scheme while the kids continue their treasure‑hunting escapade.
