Summary

In MySims Agents on the DS I become a secret operative hired by the mayor to thwart the enigmatic thief known as V, who aims to lift the town’s ancient treasure.
The investigation leans on clue‑hunting and a suite of ten quirky mini‑games – from deciphering puzzles in dimly lit underground caves to daring platform challenges – each granting Simoleons that let me dress up the headquarters, my house or the town itself with beloved MySims décor. Collectible essences from previous MySims titles reappear, letting me personalize spaces.
While the concept of playing detective feels fresh, reviewers pointed out that the day‑night cycle and some of the longer mini‑games can drag, giving the handheld a mixed reputation compared to its Wii counterpart. Still, the blend of mystery, puzzles and customization gives MySims Agents a unique charm for fans of both simulation and sleuthing.

Storyline

In MySims Agents for the Nintendo DS, you play as an undercover agent sent to a quiet town. The mayor warns you that a mysterious thief known only as “V” is plotting to steal the town’s secret treasure.
Your mission is to track V by completing a series of minigames and side missions, traveling to different locations, and talking with the townspeople. Each interaction gives clues about V’s whereabouts and helps you stay one step ahead.
By gathering evidence and solving the challenges, you aim to catch V before the treasure disappears.
