Summary

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes brings a blend of puzzle‑like battles and tactical unit placement. Players arrange offensive or defensive formations, trigger advanced combos, and time spells or artifacts to maximize damage against waves of enemies. Special challenges and boss encounters test the ability to clear the board within a limited number of moves, turning each fight into a short, brain‑twisting puzzle.

Between skirmishes you earn experience, level up both the hero and recruited units, and can mix creatures with different attributes to craft a personalized army. The game features ten playable heroes, each with unique spells, and offers HD manga‑styled graphics that evoke the rich Ashan setting. Hot‑seat versus mode and online 2‑to‑4 player co‑op let you pit your strategies against friends, making every session fresh.

Storyline

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes (often just Clash of Heroes) is the third Ubisoft‑era entry and a prequel to Heroes V, set about forty years before the saga in the world of Ashan.
The story follows five orphaned children—Godric, Aidan, Anwen, Nadia and Fiona—each leading a distinct army: knights, demons, elves, wizards and necromancers. Godric and Anwen later reappear in Heroes V, while familiar faces such as Cyrus, Findan and Markal appear in the background.
Their lives are torn apart by a mysterious Demon Lord, later revealed to be Azh Rafir, Nadia’s own father, who worships the chaos dragon Urgash. He seeks the Blade of Binding, which Aidan has unknowingly taken, to tear open the gates to the demon realm Sheogh and drown Ashan in chaos.
In the climax Nadia confronts Azh Rafir in his demon‑lord form, defeats him and shatters the Blade, ending the demonic plot and restoring peace to Ashan.
