Summary
Item Getter 〜僕らの科学と魔法の関係〜 throws you into an ancient kingdom where a modern kid named Piquet and his friends are mistaken for legendary wizards. The DS’s top screen walks the story forward across 15 chapters, while the bottom shows 3D‑CG characters that react to every touch of the stylus—drawing Affiria runes actually casts spells.
Crafting sits at the heart of the experience: you harvest over 1,000 items, combine them with magic, then level the results up to take on monsters in turn‑based battles. The blend of adventure narrative and RPG combat lets the party grow from clueless travelers into the very heroes the kingdom hopes for, all without ever learning real magic.
Storyline
In Item Getter: Bokura no Kagaku to Mahou no Kankei, three ordinary teens—Pike, Eris, and Litte—are unexpectedly whisked away to the magical Affiria Kingdom. Their arrival causes a stir when Pike’s cell phone is mistaken for a spell‑casting device, leaving the trio bewildered. By pooling their wits and newfound abilities, the three manage to harness real magic themselves. Impressed, the kingdom’s king commissions them to find a cure for the spreading illness known as Karasomnia. The adventure follows their attempts to blend science and sorcery, turning a simple phone mishap into a quest to save an entire realm.
